Terry de Havilland, and the footwear he designs, are legendary and this year the shoe that shot him to stardom, The Margaux, is celebrating her 40th Birthday. The Margaux is the original iconic wedge but far from being over the hill (as if!) she's back and looking her glam-rock greatest in silver and gold python. Psychedelic illustrator extraordinaire Grande Dame, who I interviewed for this blog last year, has designed The Tiffany, a neon Oriental print platform sandal that is crying out to be worn on the dancefloor. I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek at them when she came as a speaker to our Dalston Darlings meeting and oh my daisies I fell head-over-stiletto in love with them. To be frank I love them all, but my Must-Hav ('scuse the pun) is the canary-yellow Margarite, the younger and sassier sister to Margaux, worn below with stripes is EXACTLY how I'll be wearing mine!
